About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Product Manager who will define the product outcomes and strategy, and drive towards the end-state vision. Leads and aligns cross-functional teams to create exceptional omni-channel experiences and products with measurable business outcomes and customer benefits. Responsible for key business and customer metrics as well as the related processes and policies, including risk and controls.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead the design and development of significantly changed, innovative, highly complex, strategic technology and processes, that have companywide impact, high risk, or have significant scope, cost, and benefits.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant challenges across cross functional team.
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, broad reaching, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and inductive thinking.
  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise in planning and execution of situations with significant risk and undefined conditions that influence companywide business and financial operations.
  • Lead project managers, subject matter experts, and managers companywide.
  • Serve as an authority advisor to experienced leaders and represent the company externally when working with vendors.
Required Qualification:
  • 10 years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer Redress, Complaints and Remediation's policies and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute short-term and long-term strategies related to effective and flexible use of people, systems, structures, processes.
  • Ability to see the big picture across multiple work streams to connect the dots.
  • Experience with Agile development framework and understanding of Kanban delivery.
  • Proven ability to map business capabilities to the business systems managed by IT to identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplications or gaps.
  • Demonstrated success in combining operational excellence concepts, such as standardized work and problem solving/continuous improvement, with software-based technology implementations.
  • Understanding of customer experience strategy and issue management practices.
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in one of the listed locations.
